Cutter Aviation Unveils New Pilot Amenities at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport
For Immediate Release
November 1, 2007
Cutter Aviation, the premier full-service fixed base operator in the Southwest recently cut the ribbon on a newly-remodeled and greatly expanded Crew Lounge and Flight Planning / Business Center.
“The new Crew Lounge and Business Center represent more than mere remodeling projects to us. They are tangible expressions of our commitment to excellence in serving the pilot community” said Brad Kathrins, General Manager. “We realize that while the passengers are vitally important to our operation, it is the flight crew that spends the most time in our facility. Many times, the passengers deplane right into their ground transportation without stepping through the front door, while the flight crew spends several hours here.”
The pilot lounge features a 60” high-definition plasma home theater with surround sound, a DVD library, stadium seating with comfortable leather Lazy Boy recliners, rich finishes, exquisite lighting, two sound-insulated sleep rooms, locally-roasted whole bean coffee, and cookies that are baked fresh on premises several times each day.
The Business Center features two wide-screen monitors that allow for Internet access as well as Microsoft Office. A WSI terminal provides satellite weather in conjunction with a flat-panel television featuring the Weather Channel. “It is all about efficiency and making the crew more productive and comfortable at the same time” stated Richard Campbell, Line Manager.
